A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured after she was hit by an SUV in Douglasville on Monday evening, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened shortly after 5:45 p.m. on W. Stewarts Mill Road.
Investigators said a Nissan Murano was traveling east on the roadway when the girl ran into the street and was struck.
