Contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will install lane closures on Interstate 75 at various locations in Cobb, Cherokee and Bartow Counties this weekend for a resurfacing project.
The project limits are from Frey Road in Cobb County to Glade Road in Bartow County. Resurfacing improves the condition of the roadway and provides a smoother ride for drivers.
Weather and onsite conditions permitting, lane closures will “roll” through the project limits on I-75 each weekend night beginning 9 p.m. on Sept. 11 until 5 a.m. on Sept. 14.
