ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A former Emerson police officer has been arrested for allegedly misusing the Flock camera system, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
On Monday, the GBI said it charged former Emerson Police Officer Anthony Trapani on two counts of misuse of a license plate reader system and violation of oath of office.
Trapani, 32, of Rockmart is accused of using the Flock Safety system for non-law enforcement purposes while he was employed with the Acworth Police Department. The GBI said “that misuse continued” after Trapani transferred to the Emerson Police Department in 2025…
