Amid growing concerns surrounding the use of Flock Safety cameras and other public safety technology, the Smyrna City Council has established an eight-member Public Safety Technology Task Force to review the city’s use of the technology and recommend policies and safeguards.
The council voted 6-0 Monday, with Councilman Glenn Pickens absent.
