A man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury convicted him in the shooting deaths of two people at an extended-stay motel in unincorporated Decatur.
The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office announced that a jury found William Leftenent,39, of Philadelphia guilty Wednesday of two counts of malice murder, four counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
