Atlanta Man Accused of Being Serial Wheel and Tire Thief

An Atlanta man is accused of being a serial wheel and tire thief.

Anthony Thomas Reeves, 43, is accused of stealing the wheels and tires on July 21 between 12:30 and 5:30 a.m. from a white 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and leaving it up on cinderblocks at 2411 Piney Point Lane in Atlanta, an apartment in the District at Vinings apartment complex. He was seen on a surveillance camera entering the apartment complex’s gate driving a stolen white Ford Econoline van, according to an arrest warrant by the Cobb County Police Department.

On July 21 between 12:59 and 6:30 a.m., Reeves is also accused of stealing the wheels and tires from a blue 2021 Chevrolet Silverado and leaving it up on cinderblocks at 2611 Lake Ferry Lane in Atlanta, another apartment in the complex, according to the warrant.

Reeves’ arrest history shows a habit of using stolen vans to steal wheels and tires from vehicles. He was arrested in the act of selling stolen wheels and tires by Cobb County Police detectives. During the arrest, his phone was seized and dumped in a search warrant. The device contained over 1,000 images of wheels and tires, contents from stolen vans, discussions of his technique for stealing tires and multiple chats arranging the sale, according to the warrant.
