Mother’s murder conviction upheld in 2014 death of toddler after giving him lethal dose of codeine

COBB COUNTY, Ga. – A Cobb County woman’s murder conviction has been upheld in the 2014 death of her 2-year-old son, according to a Georgia Supreme Court ruling. Tyrael McFall died in November 2014. An autopsy later revealed the toddler’s cause of death was a lethal dose of the painkiller codeine.
