USPS: Marietta has a New Postmaster

Following a tumultuous year full of fraud allegations, a congressional inquiry and consistent complaints of poor service, the U.S. Post Office in Marietta has a new postmaster.

Jeremy Holland is Marietta’s new postmaster, according to the USPS spokesperson Evelina Ramirez.

Details on the switch and Holland’s background are limited at this time.

Ramirez declined the MDJ’s request to interview Holland and did not answer any questions about basic biographic information, stating the USPS would soon introduce Holland in a MDJ letter to the editor.

”We will soon be introducing the new Marietta Postmaster via a Letter to the Editor, which we will be sure to send to the Daily Journal,” Ramirez wrote in a Friday email to the MDJ.

Per the USPS’s website, Holland served as postmaster in Cedartown, Georgia, with a start date of July 30, 2022, and as postmaster of Lindale, Georgia with a start date of Jan. 29, 2022.

The most recently listed Marietta postmaster on the USPS’s website is Antonio Keyton, who is listed as having started the position in March 2024.
