Police: Man Exposed Himself to Children on Marietta Square

The Marietta Police Department arrested a man accused of exposing himself to two children on the Marietta Square last weekend.

Matthew Justin Bishop, 38, of Marietta, is accused of exposing himself to two juvenile victims, ages 7 and 9, causing them to run to their parent on Sept. 15 at 5:25 p.m. on the south side of the square, according to an arrest warrant from Marietta Police.

Bishop is charged with second degree cruelty to children and child molestation, both felonies; and public indecency, a misdemeanor He was arrested Sept. 15 at 7:20 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

Bishop remains in custody without bond.
