Alabama Fugitive Caught in Cobb County

Austin Shay Carlisle, 25, of Talladega, Alabama, is accused of being a fugitive from aiding a prisoner’s escape charges by the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office in State of Alabama. He was located in Cobb County on Sept. 4 at 3:10 p.m. at the Advance Auto Parts at 180 Fairground Street in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.

Carlisle is charged with fugitive. He was arrested on Sept. 4 at 3:30 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

Carlisle remains in custody without bond. The State of Alabama has advised intentions to extradite.
