The Dallas Cowboys face the Atlanta Falcons in what Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb call a “must-win” game in Week 9.
Sitting at 3-4, the Cowboys’ season is teetering on the edge, and with another loss, the dark cloud hanging over the organization could get darker.
But win in Atlanta, and suddenly, the skies might part, and a streak of sunlight might pop through. For Dak, he’s confident that the offense’s game plan for the Falcons’ defense can get the job done.
“Yeah, for sure, excited about this game plan, think we’ve got a great one in the making,” Prescott said. “Now it’s about for us, just locking in, being focused to it, going out there and not only implementing it, but executing it the way that we want to.”
What is interesting about Atlanta’s defense is that it has allowed more than 236 passing yards only once this season, and that was last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (330 yards).
So Dak might have some trouble airing out the football, which has often been Dallas’ way forward through seven games. But there’s a new wrinkle that the Cowboys can attack.
