Native American Heritage Month Booklist

November is Native American Heritage Month – a time to honor the ancestry and traditions of Native Americans.

Life in Glass Exhibition

The Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center, 2051 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta, will have the Life in Glass Exhibition through Nov. 20 in the hallway gallery.

Traveling Exhibition – Service, Citizenship and Civil Rights

The South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road in Mableton, will have the Traveling Exhibition – Service, Citizenship and Civil Rights from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 12.

The exhibition is a 10-panel traveling exhibit that traces the history of veterans with a focus on those who have experienced marginalization due to membership in various identity groups. Through connection, communication, shared struggle and common experiences, veterans have found ways to push for civil rights and recognition within the military and beyond.
