MUST Winter Shelter in Marietta Will Be Open Through Jan. 4

MUST Ministries’ winter shelter in Marietta will be open nightly through Jan. 4, the nonprofit announced.

The MUST Winter Weather Shelter is open to women, children and men.

The warming shelter is located at the Hope House, 1297 Bells Ferry Road in Marietta. All winter weather clients must report by 8 p.m. to stay in the shelter and will receive dinner and a hot breakfast in the morning.

MUST Ministries provides transportation to individuals in need of winter warming shelter at Reflections of Trinity, 4037 Austell-Powder Springs Road in Powder Springs. Pick up time is 5 p.m.

Wednesday night, Cherokee County is forecast to reach a low temperature of 27 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday, the NWS forecasts Cherokee to have a low around 31 degrees, and lows are expected to be in the mid-20s Friday and Saturday night.
