Carrington Manous, Miss Georgia’s Teen, won a preliminary scholarship of $3,000 for fitness as judging begins to select the next Miss America’s Teen 2025 at the Walt Disney Theatre at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, Florida.
The teen competition is being staged along with the sister program to select the next Miss America. Manous represented Cobb County when she won the state title last June.
Vying for the title of Miss America are Miss Georgia Lulu Louizaire and Miss Tennessee Carley Vogel. Louizaire held the title of Miss Cobb County 2023, while Vogel was named the 2022 Miss Cobb County.
Finals for Miss America’s Teen is Saturday and the competition for Miss America will conclude on Sunday. The judging categories are the same for both Teen and Miss: Private Interview is 30%, On-Stage Question is 10%, Talent/HER story is 20%, Fitness in Rebel Athletic Wear is 20% and Evening Wear is 20%.
The national awards are topped with a $50,000 cash scholarship for Miss America’s Teen and Miss America.
