ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A Marietta church is trying to help feed the local unhoused population, but city leaders say it’s resulting in unintended consequences. Shady Grove Baptist Church on Bells Ferry Road provides daily meals to those who are unhoused. Pastor Hayward Bass says they are there to minister and help people “get out of homelessness.”
