Acworth city council commenced the new year with a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., by presenting the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Proclamation at their meeting on Thursday, January 16. Alderman Houston recognized Pastor/Apostle DeAnna Fountain-Breeden for her contribution in emulating the leadership and character of Dr. King. According to the City of Acworth’s official proclamation, Pastor Fountain-Breeden has been a driving force behind efforts to forge a stronger, more united community.
