Police are investigating after a woman was shot in a northwest Atlanta neighborhood.
On Thursday afternoon, at 3:43 p.m. Atlanta police were called to 540 Simmons Street in northwest Atlanta.
Atlanta police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that a 57-year-old woman was shot. She is alert, conscious and breathing. She was taken to the hospital for her injuries. Her identity was not released…
