ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – A weak Gulf low is sliding eastward tonight, bringing some needed rainfall to South Georgia. The rainfall will be less than one inch in accumulation. A few areas of fog are possible. On Monday morning, temperatures will drop into the low to mid-40s.
By the latter half of the morning, showers will come to an end and clouds will slowly start to dissipate. This will lead to a few peaks of sunshine by the afternoon as highs climb toward the 60s.
High pressure sets the tone for the middle part of the work week, starting Monday night. Skies remain clear at night and sunny during the day, and temperatures climb into the 70s for highs and the 40s for lows.
