ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A body was found in Lake Lanier on Thursday afternoon, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 6:40 p.m., local fishermen reported the body floating in shallow water near Six Mile Creek Boat Ramp and Browns Bridge Road. The man has been identified as 56-year-old Murtuza Mansoorali Sayani from Lilburn, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said on Friday.
The sheriff’s office said the death doesn’t appear to be suspicious, but the agency did not say how the person died. The body will undergo an autopsy at the Forsyth County Coroner’s Office…
