We’ll have a much cooler day today with highs only in the low 60s under lots of sunshine. Temps quickly rebound before a storm system brings us a chance for some severe weather late Tuesday into early Wednesday.
TODAY: For today, we’ll see some high clouds swing through the region but we’ll still have lots of sunshine. After a front came through yesterday, we started off much cooler and highs today will only be in the low 60s, versus the upper 70s we saw yesterday.
THIS WEEK: Monday will remain dry with slightly warmer afternoon highs getting into the mid 60s. Much of Tuesday will be dry with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs getting into the low to mid 70s. Late Tuesday into early Wednesday, and line of strong to severe storms will march through the Chattahoochee Valley. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts, but an isolated tornado and some small hail can’t be ruled out.
