Cobb Countians will soon be a few steps closer to walking onto the Atlanta Beltline.
The county is expected to complete construction on a roughly one-mile portion of the Silver Comet Connector in July, bridging existing pieces of the trail to the Chattahoochee River along Atlanta Road.
