A man convicted of holding his girlfriend hostage has pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges and has been sentenced to prison.
William Scott Kirk II, 35, of Woodstock, pleaded guilty April 25 in a negotiated plea to family violence aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon during the commission of a felony.
He was sentenced to 35 years, with the first 10 years to be served in prison and the remainder on probation.
