ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A teenager died and a man is in critical condition after an early-morning shooting in Monroe on Tuesday, the city’s police department said.
At around 1 a.m., police were called to Lacy Street, a residential area, where they found 17-year-old Eitienne Boakye with a gunshot wound. The teen from Covington died from his injuries.
Police also found a second victim at the corner of Pine Park Street and Knight Street, less than 400 feet away. The 23-year-old was taken to the hospital, where he is in critical condition…
