NEWNAN, Ga. — You’ve likely heard the beat, sung the lyrics and tried out the moves — the viral line dance “Boots on the Ground” is taking over social media and dance floors across the country.
What you might not know is that the man behind the choreography, particularly the catchy “clack” of that fan, is from right here in the metro. Tre Little, who grew up in Greenville, Georgia and is now a Newnan resident, created the dance that’s now being performed everywhere — from TikTok videos to community events, even by the Atlanta Police Department.
