Suspect Charged with Armed Robbery at JJ’s Fish and Chicken

Rodney Brian Moody of Midway is accused of entering JJ’s Fish and Chicken at 690 Powder Springs Street in Marietta with intent to rob the establishment on May 13 at 1 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.

Moody passed by a man, waited until the man was facing away from him and then struck him with a fist in the back of the head. As Moody and the victim began to fight in the restaurant’s doorway, Moody drew a firearm, pointed it at the victim and ordered him to empty his pockets. The victim complied and Moody fled the scene…
