On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at approximately 5:38 p.m., Atlanta Police responded to a report of a shooting at 590 Cascade Ave SW in the West End area. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was alert, conscious, and breathing before being transported to a hospital for treatment.
During the ongoing investigation, police received a second shooting call at 1400 Donnelly Ave SW. Officers located another male victim, also suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Preliminary findings indicate both incidents are connected. The first victim stated he was with a group of male associates when one of the men attempted to rob him of cash and forcibly take his firearm. A struggle ensued over the weapon, during which both males sustained gunshot wounds…
