Xavier Maurice Garner of Mableton is accused of cruelty to animals on April 12 at 8:31 p.m. at an apartment in the Series at Riverview Landing Apartments in Mableton, near River Line Park, according to an arrest warrant from the Smyrna Police Department.
Garner is accused of beating his light brown Goldendoodle with a belt, striking the dog four times while it yelped, which was recorded on video.
