Trinity Hickson, 27, of Austell, is accused of shooting a man in his lower left leg with a black Taurus .40 caliber pistol after having a verbal dispute on June 3 at 1 p.m. at Powder Springs Park, according to an arrest warrant from the Powder Springs Police Department.
Hickson said she was attempting to shoot at the ground to get the victim away from her and ended up shooting him in the leg. During the incident, Hickson’s juvenile son was in close proximity, according to the warrant.
Hickson is charged with aggravated battery disfigure; possession of firearm during the commission of a crime; cruelty to children – third degree; and reckless conduct. She was arrested June 3 at 1:45 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
