An anonymous tip led to a teenager’s arrest in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy near a McDonald’s in Brookhaven last month, authorities said.
Enrique Mendoza, 18, was taken into custody Monday and is being held in the DeKalb County Jail on several charges, including murder.
“The breakthrough in the case came after investigators received an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta,” Brookhaven police spokesperson Lt. Carlos Nino said in a statement. “The information received was instrumental in identifying Mendoza as the primary suspect.”…
