Alpharetta, GA, July 24, 2025: An Alpharetta man is among a dozen suspects arrested during a three-day undercover operation aimed at targeting alleged child predators, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office announced earlier this month.
The man, identified as Sudhakar Gogireddy, 34, faces multiple felony charges including trafficking a person for sexual servitude, use of a computer to seduce, solicit, lure or entice a child to commit an illegal act, and criminal attempt. According to the sheriff’s office, Gogireddy is on hold for ICE, and is currently being held without bond.
The arrests were part of Operation Phantom Whisper, a joint initiative involving federal, state, and local agencies, including Homeland Security Investigations, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and law enforcement agencies from Gwinnett, Cobb, and Grovetown.
