Wilber Asmel Martinez, 36, of Acworth, is accused of intentionally igniting a fire within the passenger compartment of the victim’s 2000 Toyota Camry on July 15 between 12:30 and 2:50 a.m. at a residence at 6775 Songwood Drive in Austell, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Fire Department.
The fire, which occurred after the victim ended a relationship with Martinez, caused extensive damage to the interior and exterior rending it useless, according to the warrant.
Martinez is charged with arson – arson second degree. He was arrested on July 18 at 7:30 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
