A Georgia man was arrested following a “barricade situation” Friday night and charged with allegedly making multiple threats to kill Jewish people and Black people, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia announced Monday.
FBI Atlanta said 42-year-old Christopher Robertson, who also posts under the name James Lomak on social media, was arrested Friday night by FBI Atlanta’s Civil Rights squat and SWAT officers “following a barricade situation,” which was described by federal prosecutors as a “lengthy stand-off.”
“The allegations against Robertson, which include menacing visits to Jewish facilities and vile online threats against Jews and Blacks, are of great concern,” said U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg. “Protecting the community from hate-fueled violence is a foundational part of the Department of Justices mission, and we will aggressively prosecute criminals who abuse the internet to terrorize and intimidate others.”…
