Daryl Lakeith Hackworth, 43, of Marietta, is accused of throwing a rock through the glass window on the front side of the Smoke 41 store at 349 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, on Aug. 8 at 2:41 a.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
The rock created a large hole in the glass window, with spider web cracking around it. Shattered glass from the breakage trailed to the rock inside the business. Hackworth was captured on security footage from interior and exterior cameras. While in the rear of a patrol car, Hackworth admitted he broke the window and did not care. Hackworth made hostile and aggressive statements over the course of his arrest, according to the warrant.
Hackworth is charged with criminal damage – second degree; obstruction/hindering law enforcement; and terroristic threats – misdemeanor. He was arrested on Aug. 8 at 3:45 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
