More than half a million donated to fallen DeKalb officer’s family who responded in CDC attack; funeral Friday

ATLANTA — Support continues to pour in for the family of Officer David Rose, who was killed in the line of duty during the August 8 shooting attack on CDC headquarters.

As of Thursday morning, more than $556,000 has been raised on the official GoFundMe, organized by his wife.

Officer Rose, 33, was the first to respond when a gunman opened fire on the CDC’s campus. He was shot and killed while protecting others, just months after graduating from the DeKalb County Police Academy…
