The diner that never sleeps turns 30

MARIETTA — Wednesday, August 27 marks 30 years the Marietta Diner has served as a cornerstone for the community, and the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for owner Gus Tselios.

Tselios opened the restaurant in the summer of 1995. Born and raised in New York, he moved to the area in 1993. At just 20 years old, he opened the Marietta Diner — something he said the area desperately needed.

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Tselios said his diner is a place for everyone, all the time…
