Georgia Restaurant Erupts Into All-Out Brawl As Teens Get Wild During Late-Night Food Run: ‘On A School Night?’

If there’s one thing Georgia knows all too well, it’s that late-night Waffle House runs can go from pancakes to pandemonium in the blink of an eye. The chain has practically become a cultural touchstone, not just for its scattered, smothered, and covered hash browns, but also for the viral fights that seem to break out inside its walls on a monthly basis. Now, a brand-new scuffle out of Cobb County is adding fuel to the already legendary reputation of the Waffle House after-hours showdown.

According to police reports, a group of teenagers clashed with staff members at the Sandy Plains Road Waffle House in Georgia during the early hours of Sunday morning, and things turned ugly fast. What started as a verbal argument quickly spiraled into an all-out brawl, one so chaotic that even the restaurant’s surveillance cameras couldn’t keep up. Multiple cell phone videos have also made their way online, giving social media another jaw-dropping Waffle House moment to dissect.

In the clip that’s now circulating, viewers can see two employees launching plates at the teenagers near the counter, because apparently, when you’re in the heat of a Waffle House fight, anything within reach becomes fair game. Seconds later, several of the teens vault over the counter, charging straight at an employee in what looks more like a wrestling match than a diner spat. One of the workers ends up in a headlock and is repeatedly struck in the head before a female co-worker rushes in to try to break things up.

Some patrons even attempted to intervene, pulling teenagers off employees in a desperate attempt to de-escalate the violence before police arrived.
