‘Difficult conversations ahead,’ Cupid says of budget

​MARIETTA — Lisa Cupid, chair of the Cobb Board of Commissioners, told the Kiwanis Club of Marietta that difficult conversations are necessary to support the needs of Cobb County.

During the club’s weekly luncheon, Cupid discussed the reputation, accomplishments and upcoming challenges the county will face. She touched on the county budget, a student housing shortage and the recent controversy over the Cobb Veterans Memorial.
