Cesar Alexis Velazquez, 23, of Douglasville, is accused of firing two rounds from a handgun after a dispute over payment for the repair of a cell phone on Aug. 21 at 11:30 p.m. at a residence at 807 Joseph Club Drive in Mableton, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
The shots struck the victim’s car, a red 2011 Kia Optima. As the shots were fired, the victim ran for safety back inside the home. The victim owned a cell phone repair business and Velazquez refused to pay for fixing a water-damaged phone. He left with his repaired phone after the dispute with the firearm, according to the warrant.
Velazquez is charged with aggravated assault weapon; and theft of services – less than $1,500. He was arrested on Sept. 9 at 11 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
