KSU students protest parking shortages, demand transportation reforms

KENNESAW — Kennesaw State University students took to the campus green to protest the university’s handling of reported transportation issues across campus.

Students were fighting for more parking spaces across both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses, which they say are in short supply compared to the number of students enrolled at the university.

Stephan Sellers, a KSU sophomore and one of the protest’s organizers, said the university has created a “parking crisis” on campus by issuing too many parking permits when officials know there aren’t enough spaces available…
