Growing surveillance program tests balance between privacy and policing in Atlanta

ATLANTA — If you go outside in Atlanta, there’s a good chance you’re being watched.

According to the Atlanta Police Foundation, more than 20,000 cameras are now part of a network of video and other surveillance tech providing the Atlanta Police Department with information in real time.
