SMYRNA, Ga. — As Hannah Foy walked across the field on senior night, the crowd erupted, and one voice shouted what everyone was feeling: “That’s our Hannah!”
The Campbell High School senior from Smyrna is believed to be one of the first students with Down syndrome to be a full member of a varsity cheer team — a milestone made possible because, four years ago, two coaches said “yes!”
Her mom, Beth, said those coaches went far beyond the sidelines…
