MARIETTA, Ga. — An 18-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after they were hit by a vehicle while riding a scooter on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Marietta Police Department.
Police said the teen was traveling northbound on Cobb Parkway while a 2002 Ford Ranger was traveling southbound.
According to police, the teen turned in front of southbound traffic at the intersection of Windy Hill Road at the same time the driver of the Ford Ranger was approaching that area, causing the two to collide…
