Georgia Tech’s stay inside the Top 10 didn’t last long. After entering the weekend ranked No. 8 in the AP Top 25, the Yellow Jackets fell eight spots to No. 16 following their loss to NC State. While the defeat stung, the dramatic drop sparked an even bigger reaction across the fanbase.

Others expected a slide but were stunned to see the Jackets drop below several teams with equal or weaker resumes. And as usual, fans took to social media to vent, debate, and defend their team.
