COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was arrested on Friday and is facing several charges after allegedly driving onto the golf course at Marietta Country Club and then evidently stopping or stalling out next to train tracks nearby.
The Cobb County Police Department said Nekkolis R. Moreno is now facing second degree criminal damage to property, reckless driving, felony obstruction, driving under the influence, open container violation and simple battery on a law enforcement officer in the incident.
According to Cobb Police, multiple 911 calls came in around 3:15 p.m. to report a black SUV being driven recklessly in the area of Tayside Crossing and the course. The fourth and fifth holes lie at the northeast end of the course, which weaves around the Overlook at Marietta Country Club community…
