MABLETON — In Mableton, volunteer groups and community organizations such as Friends of Mableton and the South Cobb Lions Club spend time collecting litter and illegally dumped trash along streets and properties throughout the city.
Jeff Padgett, the founder of Friends of Mableton and a board member of Keep Cobb Beautiful, says he organizes cleanups every weekend to clean up the trash.
