A Powder Springs man is in custody on charges of shooting to death his mother and stepfather on Saturday, authorities say.
When police responded to a domestic call in the 3200 block of Yoshino Terrace in Powder Springs at 12:30 p.m., they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds: Monica Brookins, 72, and John Wells, 73, according to the Powder Springs Police Department.
Brookins and Wells were transported to a local hospital and died from their injuries…
