Marietta buys back $18.5 million property in hopes of attracting a professional soccer facility

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A large 33-acre property on Franklin Gateway in Marietta has sat vacant for years.

Formerly home to apartments and a shopping center, Swedish furniture company IKEA bought the land in 2018, but never built anything.
