An Atlanta mother was charged with murder for allegedly stabbing her 11-year-old daughter to death before attempting to kill herself.
Shannen Grimes, 42, was charged with murder, felony murder, cruelty to children, tampering with evidence, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a felony in connection with the death of her 11-year-old daughter, Genesis, who died on Nov. 14 in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
