Three people are in custody following an incident at a Vinings parking garage that left one suspect hospitalized after he shot himself with his own gun, Cobb Police report.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:14 p.m. Dec. 10 in the parking garage for a strip mall located at 3101 Cobb Parkway, near the intersection with Cumberland Boulevard and I-75. The mall houses the AMC Parkway Pointe movie theater, as well as a Main Event Entertainment location, a Taco Mac and other business and co-working spaces.
During the incident, the Cobb County Police Department attempted to apprehend a suspect during a traffic stop, according to Officer Aaron Wilson, spokesperson for Cobb Police. The suspect then attempted to flee on foot inside the parking garage, Wilson said…
