Convicted murderer Stacey Humphreys will remain on death row after his death warrant expired Wednesday afternoon due to a suspension on his execution issued by the state Board of Pardons and Paroles.
He was initially scheduled to be put to death by lethal injection at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 before the board issued the suspension.
